This musical duo, now husband and wife, stood firmly on their talentsthroughout the 90’s, yet something was missing. God was not the focus. Ken and Liz soon realized that fame and fortune could not stand in the way of God’s perfect plan. Ken and Liz laid it all down and gave their lives to the Lord. They now spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Christian Hip-Hop. I Did It For Christ Music Ministries is based in Sumter, SC. “Roots & Fruit” featured Clint McKellar on several songs on the album. Clint is a singer/songwriter who also resides in Sumter, SC. Clint has been a worship leader in and around Sumter since December of 2006. Music was the outlet for Clint’s meeting with Christ and beginning an eternal walk that has quickly opened doors for opportunities to serve through music. In July of 2009, I Did It For Christ Music took Clint in as the official third member of Empire State. As a group with various talents, Empire State is pursuing a fresh sound that speaks truth and glorifies Jesus Christ to the fullest. Our focus is simple. We strive to glorify God with the gifts He has given us while spreading His Word. Anything less would be disobedience. |
